Quick answers are a direct source. Unlike websites, files, and text, they are not searched and paraphrased. They are handed to the agent as-is. Use them when the wording has to be exact.

## Adding a quick answer

A quick answer is a question paired with the exact response you want. When a visitor asks something that matches, the agent uses your answer word for word.

Open **Knowledge**, select **Add**, then **Quick answer**.

Good candidates:

* Prices and plan details
* Opening hours
* Return and refund policy
* Shipping timelines
* Anything you have been burned by an AI rephrasing

<Callout>
  Quick answers take priority over trained content for the questions they cover. If your site says one thing and a quick answer says another, the quick answer wins.

## Looking for quick links?

Links your agent shares — a lookbook, your pricing page, your team's email — live in **Capabilities**, as [**Quick links**](/docs/capabilities/quick-links). They moved there in September 2026, and any you had added in Knowledge carried over.

## Why they are separate from training

Trained sources are great at breadth. They let the agent answer the questions you never wrote down. Direct sources are great at precision. They guarantee a specific answer. Most agents use both: training for coverage, quick answers for the facts that have to be right.
